Caity Jablonowski, LCPC, ATR
Caity Jablonowski is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Caity has specialized training in trauma and crisis prevention. She has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence as well as with individuals experiencing short-term and long-term homelessness. Caity has assisted individuals from diverse backgrounds in managing and coping with the depression and anxiety that often comes with past traumatic experiences and significant life transitions. Caity also has experience coaching parents in positive discipline techniques and supporting family members, individually and together, through the difficulties divorce presents.
Caity views life’s challenges through a trauma-informed, culturally competent lens and utilizes various therapeutic approaches depending on the specific needs of the client. She is able to incorporate art therapy into sessions if you are interested in processing experiences and emotions in a more creative, expressive way that ventures away from traditional talk therapy.
Seeking therapy can be an intimidating experience, and Caity believes it is a therapist’s role to assist in easing that anxiety by making therapy a place where a person can feel safe to be authentic. Caity’s goal is for sessions to feel as though one is talking to a trusted friend. She will meet this expectation by offering a safe environment to share and process experiences, emotions, thoughts, and concerns with a non-judgmental, caring, gentle, and patient response.
