Molly Ansari, PhD, LCPC, ATR-BC
Dr. Molly Ansari is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board Certified Registered Art Therapist and is the owner of Art of Healing. Molly holds a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Adler University. Molly has experience in both in-patient and out-patient settings focusing on work related to trauma recovery and severe mental health disorders. Her area of focus currently is trauma-focused therapy, depression, anxiety, relational issues, and self-esteem.
Molly utilizes various therapeutic techniques based on the needs of each individual client. She uses trauma-informed techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and often incorporates art therapy to offer clients the opportunity to explore art therapy as a means of emotional expression, creative problem solving, and introspection.
Molly believes that a positive therapeutic relationship is necessary to ensure safety within a therapy session. She works from a strengths-based approach and will work alongside you to empower change from within yourself.
